Speaker Program

Want to host an Indiana author in your community? For nearly 10 years, the Indiana Authors Awards Speaker Program has sent former and current Indiana Authors Award winners and finalists to organizations across Indiana for readings and discussions with local audiences.

Writing Workshops

Looking to develop your own literary skills? We have curated a list of writing workshops, all given by Hoosier authors. These engaging workshops are intended for a variety of audiences and cover several genres. Nonprofits interested in bringing an Indiana writer to their community to provide a one-time writing workshop for a public audience can apply for funds to cover the writer’s fee as part of the new Indiana Authors Awards writing workshop program.

Novel Conversations

Does your book club want to read books by Indiana Authors Award winners? Indiana Humanities’ Novel Conversations program is a free statewide lending library for book clubs and includes books by all previous Indiana Authors Award winners. The library provides more than 700 titles to reading and discussion groups all over Indiana free of charge thanks to the Indiana State Library’s InfoExpress system.
