2. Create a Goodreads account. Goodreads is a free service that allows you to catalog the books you read, save titles to a personal “Want to Read” shelf and read reviews from other readers. After you create your account, find and follow the Indiana Authors Awards account and add the 2022 shortlisted books to your TBR list!
3. You made the account, now leave the review! As you read your way through the shortlisted books, share your reviews to help other readers discover these Hoosier authors.
4. Visit a local independent bookstore and buy the shortlisted books. With the help of Bookshop.org, you are able to type in your zip code and are automatically connected to bookstores near you. If you prefer to shop online, Bookshop.org will ship the books to you and share the profits with your local bookstore.
5. Follow all Indiana Authors Awards shortlisted authors on social media. Engaging with the authors online, sharing their content and telling your network about their work helps the author gain exposure.
